Great Tips For Today Tip 1 - Crochet Tip To the lady that wanted to know how to change colors while crocheting: About 3-4-5 stitches before your color change, lay a tail of the new color and work over the tail with the finishing stitches of the first color. Pick up the new color in the next stitch and work over the first color for 3-4-5 stitches before cutting off first color. There is no knotting and there is no "heavy" area as when working over two strands of tails. Good luck. Tip 2 - Tennis Storage I work during the summer at a Tennis Center. The empty tennis ball holders are great storage items. They are see-through and have a lid. Store anything in them and you can see what is in there. I store tatting shuttles and thread in some. Beads in others, and patterns/wool/needles for knitting small items in others.
