Do you take prayer too lightly? Prayer may be described as simply 'talking with God,' but it is much more than just having a chat with a friend. Spiritual warfare is taking place and you are engaged in combat, destroying the enemy's strongholds as you enter the presence of God. Prayer is the battleground and we invade satan's territory - no wonder he fears the prayers of the saints more than anything else! Knowing it moves the Hand of God, he fights against sincere prayer any way necessary to stop the defeat of his plans! Let us be serious and unrelenting in our prayer time, taking back ground lost to the enemy! "Then he said to me, 'Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.'" Daniel 10:12 So many of us want to be able to pray together with our spouse or as a family, but it intimidates us. But praying aloud communicates your thoughts and inner feelings in a spiritual way.
