At least you all know how tired nursing two babies and having a teenager and preteen
and 8 year old. LOL I was in shock, a security guard for the CirusCirus hotel looked
at me and said " You can't do THAT here!" (I had on a big shirt that covered my boob,
and right behind us was pictures of boobs in swimsuits all over the wall, you could
get your picture taken to make you look like you had big boobs. I was shock and
stopped nursing, it was unexpected, years later it was explained that I was cramping
their image.

lol! I was wondering about that too! I mean, I'm into breastfeeding as long as
possible, but 13 years!!! lol! What did you do when that person said that? I don't
know what I would have done! What a horrible thing for them to say!

old omg anyway, the only place anyone has ever said anything to me about nursing is
reno NV, someone told me that NV wants the image of breasts only being for sex.

Did you mean 13 year old twins, or 13 month old twins? I do nurse in public
just to make a statement and I am not going to make the baby wait because others might
be embarassed. I mean in France, there show breasts in commercials. Erin

Wow, I was nursing my 13 year old twins in public yesterday, I guess that
would be much more difficult over there. Good for you for getting support. Are you
in France for good, or a short time? Maybe you can tell them you are amazed that
someone would not want to put their own child first for a short time. ml

Hi, nmy name is Erin and I am an american living in France. I have two boys
aged 5 and 3 months. I breastfed my first boy six months and had to stop for health
reasons. I intend to nurse my second boy at least a year and will only stop when we
are ready.

The reason I wanted to join this community is in France there is not a lot
of support for nursing mothers. I already had a little cold and my GP wanted me to
stop nursing. People here are pretty amazed that I would want to be "tied down" and
let my "body go" by breastfeeding. The midwives where I delivered were great, but
they were especially excited to have a patient that really wanted to breastfeed. I am
very commited it will just be nice to talk to woman who are as commited as me.

          Erin
