Hi Erin, My name is Jenny. I'm an Ohio mom of 3 boys age 8, 5, 2 1/2. I too find being a SAHM to be much harder than working outside the home. But more rewarding. The homemaker part is where I fumble. Lately I've started using www.flylady.net . Her system is designed for women who are overwhelmed by their home. Her site really helps me establish routines so I don't end up watching cartoons all day in my p.j.'s. I'm trying to look at being a SAHM as a career but it's so easy to let things slide when you're the only one who's going to call you on it. I know how you feel about going crazy only having little ones to talk to. These chat groups have been a lifesaver for me. In H.S. I had dozens of friends but once I was married and had kids we quickly lost contact and soon I had none. For me I've never felt resentful of my husband's work. Although sometimes I do envy his having an end to his work day. We SAHMs are on call 24/7.
