Rising star Hilarie Burton laughs off the notion that
her schedule is tough to handle as she shuttles every few days between
New York City to host MTV's "Total Request Live" and Wilmington, N.C., to co-star on the WB's "One Tree Hill."
In fact, she even has time for a personal life.
"I do, I do! I have a wonderful man I'm in love with," she says,
declining to give his name. An actor? "Oh, no, no. We only need one self-indulgent person in the relationship," she
quips.
"He does work on the show as an AD (assistant director). Anytime I'm
working, which is quite a bit, he's there, and that's nice. So many
people shun working with the person they're involved with in life, but I
love it.
With HBO cleaning up at Sunday night's Emmys, that definitely
made the cable network's after-party - next to West Hollywood's Pacific
Design Center - THE place to be. After the prerequisite star-studded Governors Ball at the Shrine, natch.
HBO's huge, red-tented bash felt like the network's commercial that
features characters from their series - "Sex and the City," "The
Sopranos," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Deadwood" and "Six Feet Under" - all interacting.
The "Sex" girls put on quite a fashion show. Sarah Jessica
Parker, in a Chanel gown, clutched husband Matthew
Broderick and (finally) her gold Emmy.

The 82-year-old comedian was stable and had been breathing on his own for 24 hours, Joan Dangerfield said in a statement released by the comic's publicist, Kevin Sasaki.
Dangerfield had a heart valve replaced Aug. 25 at the University of California, Los Angeles, Medical Center.
