How do you know a series is hot? How about when Brad
Pitt likes it enough to appear in a scene where "we're actually
tearing off his clothes. I got to be in charge of his pants." That's the
word from "Blue Collar TV's" Ayda Field, tipping us to what, uh, went down last Friday at Hollywood's Center
Studios.
"It was all so fast, it was almost like it never happened, but still,
I can remind myself I was pressed against his leg. Wow, I'll sound sick
when you write this," says the lovely Ayda - avowed Brad fan, comedian, improv artist and current photo-layout subject in
Stuff magazine.
The peppy Field explains that the Jeff Foxworthy-led WB
"Blue Collar" team was shooting on a stage near where Pitt and
Angelina Jolie have been working on "Mr. and Mrs. Smith,"
and Pitt agreed to do the bit on the spur of the moment.
With HBO cleaning up at Sunday night's Emmys, that definitely
made the cable network's after-party - next to West Hollywood's Pacific
Design Center - THE place to be. After the prerequisite star-studded Governors Ball at the Shrine, natch.
HBO's huge, red-tented bash felt like the network's commercial that
features characters from their series - "Sex and the City," "The
Sopranos," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Deadwood" and "Six Feet Under" - all interacting.
The "Sex" girls put on quite a fashion show. Sarah Jessica
Parker, in a Chanel gown, clutched husband Matthew
Broderick and (finally) her gold Emmy.
