I didn't know that you could get butt paste up here (in New England) but a friend from New Orleans swears by it.  DUH---- i suppose you could order it on the internet.

When my almost 2 year old had a bad diaper rash as a newborn the ped told me to dry her bottom after every diaper change with a hair dryer set on warm air (NOT HOT)
