In a surprise announcement today Sony has announced they will be
putting support for the popular MP3 audio format into their portable
music players. They are also going to supply software to make some of
their existing players compatible with the MP3 format. Sony has long
refused to use any audio format other than their proprietary ATRAC
format, a move that many analysts feel has hurt Sony's position in the

BroadbandAccess, its EV-DO 3G data network. The new cities are: Austin

I was cruising through the latest issue (9/13/04) of CRN magazine
when something caight my eye. Viewsonic is a well-known company, but
outside of their tablet PC and PDA's, they're not a name that normally
shows up in connection with a wireless lifestyle. That's about to
change in a rather drastic way. They've released a good start at a
line of Wi-Fi products that has the potential to make consumer-level

This coming November, mobile gaming will take on a new shape all
over again. That's right, the Nintendo DS will be released here in the
US for all to enjoy. It will be interesting to see if their newest

Now I have heard that there were concerns about mobile phones
being hazardous to ones health. But I have never heard that they might
be beneficial though. As it turns out, it is just as well. Looks like
that there is no proven benefits whatsoever for kids using these

No argument here, people want cheaper calls, not just more ways to
spend money. To me, this statement not only seems totally fair, but
completely overdue as well. In the year 2004, cell technology has
certainly come along far enough for us to overcome such petty things

Alright, this is pretty cool news. AMD is adding a mobile
processor to its 64 bit series of CPUs. This will most certainly open
up a lot of doors for those wanting to a stick with their old friend

little differnently in various parts of Africa. Take the way they use
