I am officially PAST DUE!  lol  My due date was Sunday, Oct 10th and here it is Oct 11th (granted its only 20 mins past midnight ROFL).  This is new territory for me....I have never made it to my due date, let alone past it.  As of a week ago, I had lost my mucous plug, was 1 1/2 cm dialated, cervix very soft and baby's head was "right there."   So, not sure what to expect next.  My next appt is Wed with my midwife (no appts were avail today, Mon).  Not sure if she is going to want me to get regular NST's or not?  Not sure how long she will "allow" me to go past due (I do NOT want to be induced again) and at the same time, not sure how long I am comfortable going past due??  Two weeks would be my max I think....I would worry about something going wrong and/or how big this baby is going to be!!   Tomorrow (today) I am calling my midwife's office to see if they have any cancellations and if not, I am going to ask to speak with her.....to ease my mind (can't wait till Wed lol).   A little background: Justin was born at 38wks 2 days when my water broke (he came 9hrs later and weighed 8lbs 5oz).  Sierra was induced the day before my due date (due to problems with my placenta) and once contractions finally started (hours after breaking my water and giving me pitocin....she did NOT want to come out), she came 6 hrs later, weighing 7lbs 11oz.   Because my belly is so big, I have had people telling me for weeks/months that I will never make it to my due date....I told them that I definately could and I was right.    Having a strong uncomfortable contraction right now, but that hasn't meant much before so I doubt it does now.  I have had a quite a few contractions today but nothing regular AT ALL, nor painful.   Thanks for letting me share!  I can't wait to meet my little guy (Kaden Jay Anderson?...still not sure)     Tara, 27, of Ventura, California Married to Darrell since 7/20/02, together since 1991 SAHMom to Justin 11/18/99, Sierra 11/7/01 and Baby BOY due 10/10/04 (Surprise!)
