Paula,

I have a friend who just adopted a baby this summer. She is having a rough
time however because their adoption for an infant was finalized just about
the time she had a baby girl. She had had a stillborn baby at 9 months last
year and about that time they decided to adopt. Well, as so often happens,
she got pregnant shortly thereafter. So, they have a 1 year old and a 4
month old on top of a 3 year old and 6 year old. It's been quite a life
change for them. I've only seen them at church once since they got the
baby. The husband had to go get her because Stephanie had just gotten home
from the hospital. She looked exhausted when I saw her. I guess she's even
finding it hard to take a shower. I think I'm going to see if my oldest can
go over once a week just to help her take a little break. We've talked
about adopting, but the finances would be a little tricky right now. I'm so
glad everything worked out for you guys. You are truly blessed!

Connie
