I picked it up today. I have driven it 210 kms today, all around
town to set the brakes etc. because the owners manual says 800 kms
prior to towing. I tow on Saturday, so I "absolutely have to" drive
this wonderful beast for the next three days to get my mileage up.
What an inconvenience, right? Ha, Ha! It is a 2004 F250 Superduty,
Supercab, short box 4X4 6.0L diesel 5 speed automatic with 3.73 gear
ratio, and 265 tires. I don't know why I did not do this four years
ago, but it must be fate, because four years ago they did not have
the 6.0. I loved my F150/7700 model and hated to trade it, but two
trucks in the driveway is one too many. BUT, and this is a big BUT -
I am gonna love this truck even more than the last one. Two years
ago I couldn't even spell "Happy Camper" and today, 'I ARE ONE'.
Cannot wait to see how it pulls.
