Hello Don, I installed a crank-up satellite on the  31 foot rear 
bedroom , that I used to have, and had no problems. I removed the 
old antenna and installed the satellite where it was. To avoid 
drilling any holes in the roof, I routed the cable down through the 
refrigerator vent and then run it into the credenza to the tv. I 
installed a omni directional antenna behind the air conditioner and 
also ran this cable down through the vent.  I installed the antenna 
booster on the inside wall that the refrigerator is in. These 
antennas are not the best but they do work and are better then 
nothing. I have found that as a rule if you are not all that close 
to any major city, none of them work that great. If I put a crank-up 
satellite on my 85 32 footer, I am going to look into the 
combination antenna and satellite. I hope this helps. Richard in
