Hi Gang, new kid on the block here I don't have much experience with electrical stuff, never mind solar electric. But, When I set up my Skoolie I quickly brought my system up to 1200 watts of PV panels and I just got 2/75 watt panels that I haven't set up yet. This year I will be able to take up the slack of the short winter days with a little Air X 400 watt wind turbine. As to batteries banks. I have 2 banks of 10 / 6 volt deep cycle workaholic's wired for 12 volts and I have just set up a separate bank of 4 / 6 volts also wired for 12 volts just for the espresso machine on it's own controller and panels. " Cant rough it without a good espresso " }:o) I have a 5500 watt generator with a B&S motor but that is one noise SOB so because I Boone dock "all" of time solar is the only way I can live and not be notest and it's great to be able hear the wildlife and sound around me when I get time to just sit and veg out. I most say, I like the fact that I'm helping out with the environment and all by going solar but I still get my biggest laugh by kicking the 800 LB gorilla " the electric Co. " Ahh, Life is good }:o) Well, That's my 2 cents. Peace along the way Dennis the bussdweller N.Y. ------------------------ Yahoo!
