Be Careful of dark collors even on Graphics, my boat was previously named
Shooting Star, and the lettering was dark in places. After removing the decal, I
can see where the heat,(I assume) actually caused the resin under it to
accelerate the process and leave the outline of the foam strips used to build the
hull. The places where this occured look like areas where there are "raised
lines " on the sides of the floats. To repair these "lines" would require using
filler over a fairly large area.
The damage I am talking about happened to my boat when it was in Michiganand
Ohio, I cant imagine if it were here in the sub tropics of the Keys.
