You have the quote right, but I was trying to be nice.
I am very happy that Ian didn't (hasn't yet) set the course Nat did: i.e,
giving up the best boats so he could make bucks selling people what they
thought they wanted. Nat did some wonderful work, but Amaryllis is the one
boat he designed that really holds my heart. Amaryllis 2 hangs from the
ceiling of the Herreshoff museum, and she is a sight to behold even without
her rig. Lock in his own way made the same decision. Yes, I would like to
see a F-22.
