No. It is not. I was concerned about the sizing when buying my dry suit. According to the sizing chart, the arms and legs were something like 4 or 6 inches too long. But a smaller size would have been a real problem for me to get into. The extra length in the arms and legs is not a problem. The cuffs hold the dry suit in place at your wrists and ankles. An there is an elastic band around the waist on my Palm dry suit.
