I let the saleman where I bought my Palm Sidewinder talk me into buying the XL instead of the XXL (I'm 6-1 and 220 lbs). It just arrived today and before trying it on, I put on just one pair of long underwear. Although it seemed to fit well while just standing up, when I sat down as you would on a tramp, it was fairly tight around the back and shoulders. I would definately go a size larger. If Palm's sizing chart says you should be in a large, then go XL! With all of the advice given on this thread as well as my experience, you should have no question anymore. Good luck!
