I've got a couple simple base classes for JDBC (a reader and a writer)
that allows me to quickly build what I need. Using these, I generate
DAOs for the objects that need to be persistent. The O-R mapping is
completely manual, but also completely under my control. For my needs,
simple SQL seems to suffice.
