AT&T posts $7.1 billion loss on impairment charge, 10/21/04

AT&T Thursday reported a net loss of $7.1 billion, or $8.95 per 
share, for the third quarter of 2004, but that loss included

PeopleSoft raced past analyst expectations in its just-ended
