I live in Hungary (Middle-Europe) and working in an IT Company. My work is to
managing our processes and rising the quality.
I've had a presentation in a conference for developers (there were about 50-55
people), about software developing methodologies. I talked about XP too, but in
Hungary isn't too much (maybe one or two) companies who use it. I don't know
why. So I could say only what I read about XP.
I've never try it in the real life.
There was a guy, who said, that they had tried it. It was working maybe for 3
moths, and they have had to finixh XP because a programmer had left the
company, and they couldn't find anyone for him place.
He said, it was a very good period in their life. But it's finished.
Could yousay me, why doesn't XP work in some places? Does it depend on country
or culture? Or it's only because of our immaturity?
Any idea?
If we don't have any companies with XP, how can I discover it, and assure my
and other companies? If I say: "I read it..." -- it's not authentic enough.
Thanks,
Agnes
