No! I don't care about the philisophical crap that you
or anyone else dishes on this site. I don't care, nor
argue that "money was a source of hapiness." People
like you who get all upset can debate that to your
hearts content. 

Money is important (AKA - a job)

Instead of simply acting as incredibly sensitive,
philisophical, nerdy individual programmers (NOT XP)
that XP incorporates (more or less) how programmers
can work as a Union-ish group of people who can help
develop and grow programmers in this country.

Ignoring offshoring or accepting working for less (as
Ron Jeffries post mentioned) seems non-XP to me.
Nothing more or less.

You are on another planet. Stop the philisophical
stuff! I was simply saying that money is important.
There will be a level that most programmers will
simply not be able to work as a programmer for a
living. Period. Nothing more, nothing less. I would
hope that doesn't happen but if we simply accept it
then I guess America will be another Allentown for
programmers.
