We have been working with Fannie Mae since 2001 to inject XP (and XP
variants) into several of their business units. We used XP to build several
of their trading systems that process billions of dollars worth of trades
monthly (one system has done $2.3 trillion since its first release in
January 2002).
We have also trained several internal development teams in their multifamily
financing group. These teams are responsible for developing and maintaining
a variety of systems that support Fannie's origination process from lenders.
The teams run successfully using an agile/extreme process (2-week
iterations, TDD, automated functional tests, etc. etc. etc.), and claim that
"they would never go back to the old way".
Please respond privately if you'd like more information.
