Ron (and others),
Are you using a synthetic forestay also? If so, does this require
use of the foil track for the jib to slide into, or can you still use
hanks. Is there an adjustment mechanism for shortening and
lenthening the forestay?
Also, I noticed in the 31-1D Rules they require PVC coating/sleeve on
the shrouds, apparently for UV protection. Eric sells shrouds both
with and without the sleeve. What did you use, and why?

but I replaced the stainless on my 28 last year with the synthetics,
and have been much happier. They are so much easier to deal with
when mast raising, and my boat stays on the water most of the time!
As another bonus, rig tension is far easier to adjust.
