That's pretty progressive all right. I quoted my F27 last year to
store for winter. Price depends on where. Punta Gorda (west coast)
was $950/yr. Keys were $1500/yr, through Boat US. You'll have to pay
for the year, and when you get the boat back home in spring change
the insurance location back to Canada and you'll get reimbursed for
the remaining months. Should end up costing you only a few hundred.
If you need a place to store your boat, there have been lots of
suggestions in the archives, and if you want I can check where I
stored mine in Punta Gorda. Marv Marcus will probably remember he
lives there.
