I believe your rate quotes being high are due to you being Canadian
(foreigner buying US Insurance), and...as you have read by the other
responses...the prices are not normal...at least for an American
buying US insurance. Have you tried looking for a Canadian Insurance
Company or an International one? I'm sure you are being gouged due
to some statistic that says recovery would be harder since you are
from another country.
