The story goes that the parakeets escaped from Shepperton film studios when '
Indiana Jones' films were being shot. Banding together, they weren't prey to
the local wild birds, unlike escaping budgies etc. & are now about seventh or
eighth generation. I've seen massive flocks below Hanwell. C'mon everybody, do
a Bill Oddie & report just how far they've spread. List your sightings here!
