Today I have mostly been wrong (the least said about that the better)
We started the day by queueing at the top of Woodham flight awaiting the Ranger
to come and unlock the paddles.
Earnest and Prairie Crocus set off down the flight leaving Jannock to follow
on. Once onto the Wey and Earnest started sharing with another boat leaving PC
to share with Jannock.
Although I gwave thoroughly enjoyed our sortee onto the Basy, the whole lock
times thing us very tedious when you only have a finite time to achieve your
journey. Looks as though I will have to take an extra day off to get to where I
need to be.
Earnest got through Thames lock just before the lockies lunch hour so we had to
wait for an hour before we could escape the Wey.
Onto the Thames and the wind got up and brought us some rain by about 5 PM.
Through Windsor and onto Boveney lock for water and a pumpout. My BW/EA card
would not work the machine so I lifted the manhole cover behind the
installation and did a manual pumpout.
Moored just below the lock for a prompt start tomorrow.
