We arrived at Jannock just after 10 this morning, untied an moved down to the winding hole just below Gt. Bedwyn lock to turn. We then filled the water tank and unloaded the car at the same time. Once on the move towards Hungerford, we snagged a fishing line that had been left unattended on a moored boat. Then we were flagged down by the occupants of another moored boat whose engine would not start. Having diagnosed a kna&[EMAIL PROTECTED] starter motor, we finally left Bedwyn as it started to drizzle.
This was not too wet or uncomfortable so we continued, sharing 7 locks with a fiberglass cruiser whose crew had started out at 4AM this morning. At cobblers lock the drizzle turned into really wet rain and so we called it a day once we reached Hungerford church moorings.
The fixed Di Blasi started 2nd kick and has been faultless during the Bedwyn to Newbury car shuffle. Jannock moves onto her temporary moorings at Newbury tomorrow. 2 months to try and catch up with those jobs that never get done using the summer evenings.
