In my case I pay by credit card, don't know which one yet it depends on which one is doing the best 0% deal on purchases when my licence needs renewing. I get the prompt payment discount and get to pay monthly over X months with no interest. It just happens that I have several things due at the same time (boat insurance, car insurance etc) so all these go on the card all on easy payments and all interest free.
