As soon as I had printed out the PDF I emaild the company pointing
out much of what has already been said and also asking how they
arrived at the prices (I suspect near 50% of boast are alreday paying
more) and asking why they appered to be consulting on matters of
reducing public health services (water & rubbish).

I asked them to specify exactly what is ment by "lock improvements"
because if its paint, a few shovel fulls of gravel, grass cutting and
an "information board" it will not be for the boaters' benefit.

The implication that BW are considering removing water and refuse
points should also be of concern.

Following on from their last effort, I think BW shodul have a hard
look at the messages they are giving actual and potential boaters. If
the present climate was so obviouse when I bought the boat I think it
would have been a wide beam sea capable boat, not something almost
tied to BW.
