Finally in dry dock and blacking process has commenced. Sadly being able to see the stern gear at last meant unexpected expense. A broken engine mounting earlier in the year has resulted in wear to the prop shaft and it needs replacing along with the gland. Not sure what the damage is financially but it's likely to be around £800. All the anodes need replacing too. That's another £300 ... boat's eh? Money pits :-)
At least the hull survey was good and TIAMI looks good for another 20 years with regular maintenance. Very strange living on the boat in the dock. It's sooo dark. Poor Merlin is very confused with the lights on all day and not being allowed out to play. With a show coming up in a couple of weeks it's too risky to let him out to play amongst bitumen paint!
