I understand the choice at Llangollen is to use the new "basin" moorings and pay - or go the mile or so back down the cut to where the towpath moorings have been for years and moor for free. I don't have a particular problem where the payment is for a new "additional" facility - they have to be paid for - I would never support charging for current towpath moorings!
