Do you mean yours was not secure or you were using someone else's 
unencrytped wireless?
- first useful tip for wireless router is to set to WPA and a PSK string 
that a hard password to break - i.e no proper words, and the second tip is 
to change both user name and password for the main router login screen. 
Even better, disable the wireless and plug in a network cable :-)
