I have one of the Llangollen tickets in front of me. On the front it says:
"British Waterways | Dyfrffyrdd Prydain Wales & Border Counties Llangollen Moorings Boat No.:____________ Expiry Time:_________ Expiry Date:_________" On the back it says: "This ticket must be displayed in the window of your craft and be clearly visible to British Waterways staff. Failure to do so will incur a £60 mooring fee. Non-transferable. Charges made under the provisions of s.43 of the Transport Act 1962." I don't know what the Act says - I can't find it online (albeit after only a fairly cursory search) Andrew dave hearnden wrote: > I have been following some of the emails regarding BW charging in the > LLang/////. > > My question is can they just do that ie start charging for what? a electric > supply say if you do not want to use it or can't (cause the boats not > equiped).
