Listening to the idea having more electric points etc, who is going to look
after them? will this be the BW bod who we wish would be chasing licence
evaders and people who over stay on moorings such as one that has left a 48
hour mooring today, they had been there for 2 - 3 months.

Thinking about long term, the tow path shufflers will enjoy the electric
being laid on, and there are laws about how much you can charge for a unit
of electric! the vandals will have something more to break/wreck, boaters
mooring pins might be a problem, like Julian our mooring pins on NB Daisybob
used to be tank recovery pins yes tank as in a big tank. The pins are about
3ft long with and eye at the top. And yes if I am mooring and using them
they will be hammered so they are all the way in.( I use a club hammer
2lb,they still go in).

Why do we need these power supplies, as Sue and several others agree boats
are becomming to hi tech, an early email was saying about moving a further
few yards? to get a better reception on the TV?

Is BW charging £5.00 because the electric has been supplied to a post that
you can connect to if you want to? or are they saying BW will charge you
£5.00 for the electric you use, which as I mentioned above might be Illegal
because there is a set charge that can be levied on electric.

Im not adverse to change when its for the better but Im not sure this for
the better. But I still can not understand how BW can charge on the LLang///
I know someone said about an Act, had BW contacted NABO and the such, I feel
it is still wrong and its sets a precedent.

People making comments about other stretches of water, you may laugh but if
this goes without challenging where will it go next?
