Hi everyone from a new member. I want to replace the 24inch silencer box on my NB and would be grateful to hear from anyone with experience of having completed such a task. The box is threaded at each end, one fitting into the exhaust manifold and the other into a sleeve at the outlet end. I realise that i shall need to use plentiful penetrating oil to loosen the old box, but I am not sure how to start loosening the sleeve end.
