Well - if I was doing it and the access was OK I think a couple of
large stilsons/pipe wrenches. Not that Im fully understand what you
mean by the sleeve. Also, along with the penetrating oil, a large
blowlamp will probably help. As may putting the mooring hammer on one
side of the sleeve (where the internal thread is)and whacking the
other side with an ordinary hammer, moving around the sleeve.
Once you free the manifold end you may well find the sleeve end pulls
out of a very rusty endplate. If so it may give you better access.
Remember to use a good dollop of copper-grease on the threads at both
ends during assemble so it may be a but easier next time.
