Hi Terry We travelled down the Trent last Friday - no problem and the tides are on Spring Tides this week. We do that part of the Trent fairly regularly as we moor in Lincoln and it really is not a problem!
If you want tide times I would suggest that you get in touch with the Lock Keeper at Cromwell Lock, phone number 01636 821213, and he will advise on the best time to pen out to Torksey. They are really very helpful. Depending on the tide be prepared for an early start though, we penned out at 6.30am. Have a good trip.
