Day 50 - Saturday August 19th - Radcot to Radcot
16 miles 6 furlongs, 6 locks, 6 hours 15 minutes
General GiG jollity, a cruise to Lechlade and back with Glen Peckett
as passenger. Left Radcot at 10am, arriving at Ha'penney Bridge for
lunch at 12.45pm. Set off again at 2.00pm, heading upstream. Got
about halfway between Inglesham Roundhouse and Hannington Bridge
before deciding not to tempt fate any further. Found a suitable
place to wind the boat without too many problems before heading back
downstream. Arrived back at Radcot at 5.30pm. Evening entertainment
provided by Isambarde assisted by Sophie the dog. As they say, you
   had to be there.

Day 51 - Sunday August 20th - Radcot
0 miles 0 furlongs, 0 locks, 0 hours
More GiG fun and games, boaters auction, lunch at the pub. Afternoon
session on the Pimms with Molly and Anne. Five jugs between three
was felt to be sufficient. :-) Back to the site for the Indian or
Chinese supper (take your pick) followed by the quiz, where Molly,
Anne and I were joined by Roger and Sue Burchett to form a team
called "The Pimms". We won despite the Pimms.
