As the husband of a teacher I must point out that the
so-called holidays they get are merely periods when they
don't teach the kids directly. My wife went into school
several times during the recent break and had mountains of
school stuff to do at home.
It's not unknown for my missus to take schoolwork on
holiday when we actually do get away from home. I've
been known to threaten to put it in the boat stove!
