Yeah, sounds like hassle!
 - What we find is that if we turn on the tap above the hotwell and 
begin toping it up with cold water (from the domestic tank) this cools 
down the end section of the hotwell (hotwell is seprated into four 
sections, with filter cloth rolls between) enough that the injector 
will run satisfactorally untill all the water in the end section is 
new, cold, water. Job done!

Of cause, all this is acctally a little acadmic at the moment as both 
our injectors are currently out of action.
