Whilst being hirers we do not make any claim about being knowledgeable about
boat insurance we have moved our car and home matters on to Saga (assuming
you pass the seniority rule!). We have not had a claim yet but when my
father was involved in a car write off he had a full cheque within four
weeks without any quibble whatever.
Quote from their website under boat insurance - '
Boat Insurance: Extensive Cover
Saga Boat Insurance covers most types of boat so whether you have a yacht,
motor boat, sportsboat, sportscruiser, dinghy, narrowboat or sailboard you
will not be left high and dry. Our cover can extend from inland waterways to
coastal waters and beyond
I still live with the feeling that any company that makes their living
entirely from the senior section of the community can not be in the business
of messing people about but I don't doubt that some posts will follow!
