I realise that this is a bit after the fact, but I'd like to report on
diesel prices we encountered on our recent trip around the Thames Ring:
Thames Marina, Thames Ditton, 53p/l; pump-out £10, no blue--maybe I should
have asked...
College Cruisers, Oxford [just above Isis Lock] 70p/l--you've GOT to be
kidding!
Oxford Cruisers, Farmoor, Upper Thames, 60p/l--a bit pricey, but when you're
the only game in town...
Oxfordshire Narrrowboats, Lower Heyford, 55p/l
Sovereign Narrowboats, on the northern outskirts of Banbury, 48p/l, cash or
cheque ONLY.
Kateboats Stockton base 55p/l
Rather than bore everyone with yet another cruise report, I shall be posting
