Yesterday the levels on the Southern Oxford between Lower Heyford and Thrupp
were well up. On the river section above Aynho Wier lock the water was
within an inch of the red on the marker, and the cross flow of the river was
very fast. Hwrever we saw the Cherwell it looked brim-full and in danger
of overtopping its banks if there is much more rain. Lots of the fields
were flooded.
