I didn't say that! A TV card (like mine as well - I've a Nova-T for freeview - very good if I must say so) is receiving broadcasts via an aerial. The difference I was quoting is when you get the picture and sound streamed down from the TV web site. To see what I mean go to http://www.bid.tv/ and press the "Live TV Streaming" button - it shows the program on that channel - without any TV card usage. Note the picture is small, slightly jerky - when broadband gets much faster (as it will undoubtedly do) then we'll get full screen and smooth action.
