That bit stopped me for a moment - isn't it illegal now to smoke in
pubs / restaurants - and then I remembered - England's law doesn't
come into effect until next spring.

We've had that law in place for many months now - and it is SO much
better going to pubs and restaurants. And the top clothes don't need
washing after every visit.

Glad it is maintaining it's good record - I seem to remember we were
together there on the way back from the first Beale Park event. Or was
that with Connie and Guy ?.
