Well Nick recons 8 hrs to Napton Junction, I would suggest that if you
pick the boat up PM Saturday it will be Sunday night before you get to
Napton Junction. Likewise you will need to be there mid morning on Friday
when you return. So that will mean about a 10 hr day to Coventry and back
and don't stop when you get there.

Hmm. That wouldn't be my choice but everyone to their own. When I came
: back to boating I hired Dorothy Constance from Kate boats in Warwick and
: went down to Stratford and back in a week with a day to spare. However
: I did boat (single-handed) for probably 10 hours a day. Diary of the
: trip on my website. That would be my choice from Warwick.
I think even that would be a good week for some one lacking experiance and
locks all the way.

: I agree. I didn't actually say down "to" Oxford but down "the" Oxford,
: Phil. I left unsaid the assumptin that they'd turn at half time possibly
: at Cropredy or Fenny if they did short days.

That would be my advice I think
