I was there in the summer, temporarily moored up in the basin where I gatecrashed the official opening of the bridge and nailed some BW top brass. I have always had a soft spot for Stourport, IMO Britain's number one canal town. I was therefore delighted when you subsequently moved there. This, I hope, will ensure that I am never short of a drinking companion in subsequent visits.
Steve ps I believe I first met a friend of yours Mr Beeky for the fist time in Stourport pps get yourself around to the butcher behind where you live. He sells the most delightful chitterlings, though you have to be up with lark to get them, such things, as you know, being a much prized delicacy in the town.
