I was there in the summer, temporarily moored up in the basin where
I gatecrashed the official opening of the bridge and nailed some BW top
brass. I have always had a soft spot for Stourport, IMO Britain's number one
canal town. I was therefore delighted when you subsequently moved there.
This, I hope, will ensure that I am never short of a drinking companion in
subsequent visits.

ps I believe I first met a friend of yours Mr Beeky for the fist time in
Stourport
pps get yourself around to the butcher behind where you live. He sells the
most delightful chitterlings, though you have to be up with lark to get
them, such things, as you know, being a much prized delicacy in the town.
