That's true. Apparently she lives in a house on an island bounded by the weir stream. I hadn't realised she actually lived on the same planet as the rest of us... and is refusing to do anything about it. It's been suggested that she may be reluctant to fund the work, but I think it's more that she will have to get a new weir designed, maybe sell a few CDs to pay for the possible 100,000 pound cost, and get EA approval for the work. All of which will take time. And there's no real incentive for her to get it open before the end of the stoppage programme. BW tell me that her agent has engaged an engineer to design a new weir and he is preparing a list of contractors for BW and EA approval.
