Well maybe you  (royal ie BW) should look at Braunston on the GU/South 
Oxford between bridge 98 and 99 Last night when I was moored there with 
friends out of about 12 boats, (two of which only arrived from further 
along the South Oxford last week)  only one boat was displaying a valid 
licence, mine ran out on the 1st January and the next newest was September 
2006 I don't think the rest had any licences at all on display.
